FMB Music offers free guitar giveaway July 4

Celebrating its grand opening on Fort Myers Beach, John Hyatt and his new FMB Music shop’s offering all who enter on or before Friday, July 4 a chance to walk out with a shiny, brand new American flag-painted guitar – acoustic or electric – and more.

Summer swimming lessons at the Beach Pool

The Town of Fort Myers Beach Pool begins a new session of swimming lessons Monday, July 7. The classes are from 4 to 4:30 p.m. Mondays and Wednesdays through July 30. The cost for the eight lessons is $50, which includes a workbook and certificate for passing. The Kiwanis Club of Fort Myers Beach offers financial assistance to defer costs for qualifying families.
