Bobby's Roast Beef has always been a succulent staple to the Fort Myers Beach restaurant community, but its last several months have been a little on the shaky side, with a freak fire breaking out, a temporary move to the Shamrock Irish Pub and rebuilding their own establishment.
Well, that's all in the past, because Bobby, Johnny and Billy, Bobby's Roast Beef partners, have just opened their all-new dining area and lounge, in the suite right next door to their take-out spot, at 118 Crescent St.
Sporting a long L-shaped beer and wine bar, pool table, extended daytime hours (11 a.m. to 3 a.m.) and plenty of comfortable seating, the dining side to Bobby's is a great addition to their roast beef empire.

Bobby's Roast Beef is well-known for their roast beef, obviously, which is slow-roasted for about 14 to 15 hours, allowing the meat to get extra juicy and tender, served medium rare.
"We have a very unique menu," John said. "Aside from our signature roast beef, we've got awesome pulled pork and great steak-and-cheese and chicken-and-cheese the best you'll find on the beach."

John is also sure to point out, "our portobello mushroom sandwich is perfect for the health-conscious individual, offering lots of unique flavors."
For dinner, try the pot roast platter: 10 ounces of pot roast served with mashed potatoes and honey cinnamon carrots. Yum!
Most of Bobby's dishes are prepared in small batches on premises, allowing utter perfection to the flavor of the dishes.
"We're also looking to add additional items to our menu, such as appetizers for the bar, like chicken wings and poppers," John said.
As usual, free delivery's available for $20-and-up orders. Take-out and catering are also available.
One of the brand-spankin' new additions to the restaurant, the trio built a beer and wine bar, offering domestic and premium drafts and bottles. (They look forward to offering a full bar soon).

In bottles, try the Amber Bock, Heineken, Corona, Sam Adams, Shock Top Belgian brews, Leinenkugel's, Bud, Bud Lite (with lime, too) or some Mich Ultra. Domestics are $2.50, premiums, $3.50.
Plenty of chilled wines are available to sip on, too: whites, reds and a little from in between.
