Bobby's is BACK!

Bobby’s Roast Beef opens all-new dining area and lounge

January 26, 2009

Bobby's Roast Beef has always been a succulent staple to the Fort Myers Beach restaurant community, but its last several months have been a little on the shaky side, with a freak fire breaking out, a temporary move to the Shamrock Irish Pub and rebuilding their own establishment.

Well, that's all in the past, because Bobby, Johnny and Billy, Bobby's Roast Beef partners, have just opened their all-new dining area and lounge, in the suite right next door to their take-out spot, at 118 Crescent St.

Sporting a long L-shaped beer and wine bar, pool table, extended daytime hours (11 a.m. to 3 a.m.) and plenty of comfortable seating, the dining side to Bobby's is a great addition to their roast beef empire.

The food

Bobby's Roast Beef is well-known for their roast beef, obviously, which is slow-roasted for about 14 to 15 hours, allowing the meat to get extra juicy and tender, served medium rare.

"We have a very unique menu," John said. "Aside from our signature roast beef, we've got awesome pulled pork and great steak-and-cheese and chicken-and-cheese the best you'll find on the beach."
