On Tuesday, July 28, from 7:30 to 9 a.m. at the Broadway Palm Theater, the Florida Chamber of Commerce and the Lee County Alliance of Chambers are will come together and host the Local Legislative Delegation Awards.
The Legislative Awards recognize legislators whose leadership helped strengthen Florida's economy through job growth and the protection of the free enterprise system.
Senator Garret Richter will be honored with the Most Valuable Legislator Award. Senator Richter earned the 2009 Most Valuable Legislator Award because of his leadership on several critical pro-business bills. Hometown Democracy is one of the single largest issues the business community will be facing in the upcoming year.
