Anne Patricia Crawford, age 75, of Toledo, passed away March 1, 2010 at her home in Toledo, OH.

Anne was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend. She loved raising her family and entertaining her friends. A long-time member of Sylvania Country Club, she enjoyed golfing and bowling. Anne passed peacefully at her home in Toledo, Ohio, surrounded by her loving family. Born in West Orange, New Jersey, Anne met Les when they were teenagers. They married some years later and spent 55 years creating their network of family, friends and loved ones. Anne and Les split their time between Toledo and Fort Myers Beach with friends and family. Anne is survived by her loving husband, Leslie; three daughters, Maureen Vogel (Ed) Chesterfield, Mo.; Suzanne Crawford of Toledo; Patricia Crawford, Fort Myers; two sons, John Crawford (Jeriann), Richmond, Va.; and Rich Crawford (Jani) of Sylvania, Ohio; brother, Dennis O'Rourke, Albrightsville, Pa; nine grandchildren, Megan and Eddie Vogel of Chesterfield, Mo.; Melissa Lorenz (Nick) of Chesterfield, Mo.; Kylee and Les Crawford of Sylvania, Ohio; Matthew and Jessica Wiciak of Toledo, Ohio; Brady and Kelsey Crawford of Richmond, Va.; Megan Vogel, Melissa Lorenz, and Eddie Vogel of St. Louis, Mo.; three great grandchildren, Preston Kingery; Margot Vogel; and Genevieve Lorentz; and cousins, Alis and Ed Skeffington, whose caregiving was angelic.

The family wishes to express their deep appreciation to the dedicated medical professionals and caregivers who helped Anne through a long and courageous battle with cancer. Visitation was held at the Reeb Funeral Home, 5172 N. Main St., Sylvania, Ohio, on Thurday, March 4, from 4 to 8 p.m. A mass of Christian burial was conducted at St. Joseph Catholic church in Sylvania on Friday, March 5, at 10 a.m. Interment will be in Toledo Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Northwest Ohio Hospice or the American Cancer Society. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the family at www.funeralhome Web site.
