Beach Ministerial Association's

Good Friday and Easter services

The Beach Ministerial Association's Good Friday service will be held this year at St. Raphael's Church, 5601 Williams Drive (three blocks south of Publix on Estero Boulevard) at noon, with Rev. Dr. Maynard Pittendreigh preaching.

The Beach Ministerial Association's Easter Sunrise service will be held at the beach pier at 6:30 a.m. Sunday, April 4, with Rev. Alice Marcrum presiding.

All are welcome to attend either or both events. For more information, call Leeanna at 463-6057.

Seventh annual Bunny Run

The Southwest Florida Hog Chapter will be holding its seventh annual Bunny Run Saturday, April 3, and from what members say, the event has changed a lot this year, and last year was the largest run, with about 800 riders.

The Bunny Run is a police-escorted 17-mile ride that starts from Harley Davidson of Fort Myers and heads to the Children's Hospital near Health Park. Participation to the event has been growing through the years, and the cost to ride is $5 and a unwrapped toy.

Some of the new things taking place during the run this year include:

Friday morning Fox Morning Blend with Wild Bill will be a the dealership.

Friday night, April 2, Harley Davidson of Fort Myers is having a Bike Night with pre sign-up. You'll also get a ride pin for the event.

Saturday morning, April 3, there will be at least 70 dozen donuts provided by Publix, along with other treats. Then the ride will start!

A Hog Chapter videographer will be making a video of the entire event. Both Bike Night and the ride will cost about $20.
