WWE diva Champ Stacy "The Kat" Carter is a Fort Myers Beach native, which is why event organizers decided to extend from their event home in St. Pete and host a wrestling event at Bay Oaks.

"It's gonna be a pretty awesome event," said Nick Cvjetkovich, event promoter. "There will be lots of great guy and girl wrestlers, a meet-and-great session for fans to meet the wrestlers and get merchandise and pictures autographed. It will be a whole, proper show."

There will be plenty of prizes, giveaways, concessions and more, and guests have a chance to meet all of the wrestlers live and in action. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to a local charity.

The cost to attend is $10 for adults, $5 for kids and $15 for ringside seats. Meet-and-greet is from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m., followed by the show.

Nick said organizers definitely plan to host more wrestling events in the future.
