What other way to celebrate your birthday but do it on the beach, right? A birthday party for local rocker Stet Howland will be held at the Beach Pub (1668 I St.) Saturday, Aug. 14, with the celebration kicking off at 2 p.m.

Plenty of live music will take place, with John and Daizy performing as Elijah kicking off the tunes around 2 p.m., followed by the Stet.TV Band and special musical guests throughout the day.

"This will kind of be set up like another episode of Stet.TV, with a camera crew interviewing party guests, sharing fun stories and stuff like that," said fellow musician John Hyatt, guitarist for the Stet.TV Band, along with T-Bone on bass. "T-Bone and I wish Stet a very happy birthday. He is a great friend and an awesome musician."
