W.A.S. is Ready to Rock Home Base

W.A.S. wrapping up Northeast tour and headed to FTM for Nov. 18th show

The boys of W.A.S. (Where Angels Suffer), comprised of musicians formerly of W.A.S.P., including Chris Holmes, Randy Piper, Rich Lewis, Steve Unger, and, of course, our very own Stet Howland, have hit the ground running, finishing up their Northeast tour and ready to make it back to their home base for a local show Thursday, Nov. 18 at Ale Mary's Bar and Grill, with 10,000 Views opening the show.

Show director and tour manager Michael Wright catches us up on the group's last several touring gigs:

"Since we've talked last, we've been to the Viper Room in Los Angeles, on Nov 4th, we were at Ding Batz in New Jersey. Friday in Long Island, we played at Karma," Michael said. "Then, in West Springfield, Va., on the 6th, at a place called Jack's. We're currently in Greensboro, N.C., at Arizona Pete's, and now we're headed to Murfreesboro, N.C., at Zack's Coffee House. Then Friday the 12th, we're going to be at Fairfield, Ohio's Charlie's Throttle Stop, then Imperial, Pa., outside of Pittsburgh, called Grimm's Roadhouse. After all that, we head back and do the gig in Fort Myers on the 18th. We also did an acoustic set at The Kickstand. It came out really, really good."

Once back in Fort Myers, the guys are talking about recording an album.

"Each show keeps getting better and better, and the Fort Myers show will be unbelievable," Michael said.

The cost to attend the W.A.S. show at Ale Mary's is $10 at the door. This is a 21-and-up show.
