Get ready for all the glitz and the glam to hit Fort Myers Beach this weekend, as Island Girl plans to host an all-out Bling Party Saturday, Feb. 11, from noon to 5 p.m., at the all-new 4836 Bonita Beach Road location, inside the Beach Plaza.
During the five-hour glam fest, see the lovely creations of internationally known artist Isabella Adams, who creates gorgeous pieces with upscale designer Swarovski crystals.
"Isabella Adams is an internationally known home and accessories designer, utilizing Swarovski crystals to create keepsake boxes, candelabras, picture frames and other pieces, shown in upscale shops and boutiques all over the world. She is the ultimate Queen of Bling," said Island Girl owner Michelle Feldheimer. "As a personal friend, she will be making a one-day appearance at Island Girl to show her latest designs, offered for sale for the public to take home and enjoy."
Stop by the all-new Island Girl Saturday, Feb. 11, for a big Bling Party, from noon to 5 p.m., featuring the dazzling designs of artist Isabella Adams.
Be sure to also take part in a one-day-only drawing for one of Isabella Adams' famed keepsake boxes, gorgeously handcrafted in hundreds of Swarovski crystals, an item that normally boasts a $300 price tag.
"There is no purchase necessary, and you need not be present to win. Just stop in Saturday to meet the artist, browse our collection and enter in the drawing," Michelle said.
While enjoying the festivities, Bling-Party-goers can take in all of the new and lovely pieces Michelle has added to her stylish and eclectic collection of gifts and accessories, and the very fun and upbeat inventory she offers customers.
The fun little shop is just south of Doc's Beach House and Coconut Jack's, on the left-hand side in the Beach Plaza.
"I love our new location and want to invite everyone to come visit Island Girl's new home," Michelle said. "We opened our new shop a little over two weeks ago, and I couldn't be happier."
Voted Best of the Beach's "Best Gift Shop" two years in a row, her stunningly fun, tropical and artsy shop carries a wealth of paintings and Floridian artwork, as well as the work of Leoma Lovegrove, stunning jewelry, gifts, accessories, stylish home decor, candles, a few clothing items and something for every style.
"It's a very fun shop. People are always very receptive to what we have to offer," the shop owner said.
Michelle plans to continue hosting special art nights, gatherings, events and showings throughout the year, with plans comfortably coming together for a Leoma Lovegrove art night in the near future. (Stay tuned for further details as they develop.)
Hours to the newly-relocated shop are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday to Saturday, and closed Sundays. Once season kicks in a bit more, Michelle said she'll adjust hours to fit the rush.
And, with Valentine's Day right around the corner, Island Girl has the perfect bling for the perfect girl. Offering all types of fabulous jewelry and accessories, as well as special pieces from famed local artist Isabella Adams, this shop is definitely one that should be on your shopping list.
