It's always a good time at Bonita Bill's

In the next coming weeks, Bonita Bill's plans to host a couple of great fund-raisers that will both help a local charity, as well as bring families closer for Father's Day. On Saturday, June 16, be sure to stop by the 702 Fisherman's Wharf location for an intense shrimp feast, from 2 to 6 p.m. Enjoy lots of raffles, awarding fantastic prizes, on top of pounds and pounds and pounds of locally harvested Florida pink shrimp.

Live music from Peppermint Patti will keep the crowd to their feet while enjoying succulent, juicy "pink gold" and winning an array of fabulous prizes.

The next morning, Sunday, June 17 (Father's Day), from 7 a.m. to noon, head back to Bonita Bill's for its monthly Marine Yard Sale (and everything else). Enjoy freshly-brewed coffee from the cafe while perusing the many tables of nautical items for sale, from accessories and furniture to engines and complete boating systems. There is sure to be plenty of other great bargains available, too.

For those of you who have been wanting to empty out your garage, storage locker, dock locker or boat(s), feel free to offer your treasures during the sale by calling Therese, 872-5998. The cost is $15 per space and $5 to rent a table.

Once you're done shopping it up (or selling it up) stop back at Bonita Bill's that morning between 8 and 11 a.m. for the annual Father's Day Pancake Breakfast.

You and your family can enjoy all-you-can-eat pancakes, freshly made by the talented Bonita Bill's chefs, for just $4.50.

Each of these benefits will be raising funds for the Fourth of July Kid's Fishing Tournament, taking place in just a few weeks. Call 463-6119 for more info.
