Paint The Beach organizers look for partners

June 27, 2012
Fort Myers Beach Bulletin, Fort Myers Beach Observer

To the editor:

"PAINT THE BEACHSANDCASTLES TO SHRIMPBOATS A Plein Air Festival in Fort Myers Beach, Florida" is seeking partners for it's third annual national event taking place on the Beach from Nov. 5-11, 2012. Partners for this event include the Fort Myers Beach Art Association, Santini Marina Plaza and Fish Tale Marina.

The event features a three-day outdoor painting experience at local Fort Myers Beach locations for registered artists. Following the painting, an evening awards ceremony and preview gala takes place under the tent at the beautiful Santini Marina Plaza. The art will be exhibited for sale throughout the weekend. Saturday events will include a Quick Draw and Plein air event for area children.

Proceeds from this year's festival will benefit the Fort Myers Beach Art Association. The Fort Myers Beach Art Association mission is "to further and provide education in the cultural aspects of life on Fort Myers Beach and its environs; to promote the study, practice and appreciation of art; to hold art exhibitions and programs which are open to the pubic; and to encourage art instruction of children and junior artists."

FMBAA is a 501 C-3 organization and all donations are tax deductible. More information about the FMBAA is available by visiting the website at or calling the Association at 463-3909.

This event promotes art in our community, it encourages local, national and international artists to celebrate the beauty of our community as well as providing the community the opportunity to come together at our Gala Party to meet the artists and purchase works of art of our locale.

In addition to knowing that you are supporting your community, you will be supporting the arts and gaining recognition for this support through increased exposure for you and/or your organization.

Sponsors will be prominently recognized in all or our promotional materials and publications. Your support is important to us and is greatly appreciated.

If you have any questions or would like additional information, please contact Corky Condon, FMBAA sponsorship chair, at 207-2982 or via email at

We thank you in advance for your consideration and support.
