Detectives searching for abductor in Iona area

Lee County sheriff's detectives are searching for the man who abducted a 10-year-old boy yesterday. The boy was abducted early this morning along Arbor Ridge Drive in South Fort Myers in the Iona-McGregor area.

The suspect forced the boy into a vehicle and drove him around for a few miles. The boy was released several miles away unharmed.

The suspect is described as a black male in his forties who was clean shaven with black hair. The suspect has a single upper silver tooth (not either of his two front teeth). The suspect was wearing blue jeans, a blue jacket and brown hoodie.

The suspect's vehicle is an older red pickup truck, single cab with a chrome toolbox across the back of the cab. There was a set of dice hanging from the rear view mirror.
