The Beach Senior Softball All Stars wrapped up their season this week at the Section 6 tournament, exiting Wednesday night with a 7-3 loss to host Lehigh Acres.
Manager Mike Dagnese said the girls worked hard and played hard, but ran into some really good teams and came up short.
"It seemed like every time we hit the ball hard it was right at somebody," said Dagnese, who also sponsored the team with MD Electric. "But they never gave up."
