Kaylar is a 4.5-year-old lab mix. She was rescued from the animal shelter when she was three months old. Sadly, her owner passed away and the lady who has her now can't take care of her, since her husband is highly allergic to dogs.
Kaylar would need some exercise, and she'd love to be with another dog or maybe a cat. She is extremely gentle, has been indirectly around children and has never had any problems. She is up-to-date on her shots and heartworm medicine, etc., and weighs 64 pounds. Please call Cindy at 565-5043.
Kaylar needs a home.
Lance and Louie
Not so lucky at first, Lance and Louie were born outside and were very sick. After many weeks of veterinary care, love and devotion, they are now ready for a new life.
These two brothers need a forever home and are so lovable that they will come right up to kiss you on the cheek. Patience and love are the most important attributes with animals. They are under a year old! Call Pam, 218-1875.
Uno, Dos, Tres and Cuatro
These little kittens are just around 10 weeks old. They are adorable, long-haired, handsome young black cats with blue eyes. Take one or two or all, and they will make you laugh for hours. It's the best natural therapy around! Please call their foster mom, Suzy, at 896-8732. Suzy has been helping us in catching mothers and kittens, and having them fixed, vaccinated and adopted.
Donating to the cause
This week, if you think of us, please consider donating cat litter and kitten food as well. It can be dropped off at Nancy's Beach Pet Grooming, 2450 Estero Blvd. Thanks!
New location for adopting our homeless pets
We have great news for our rescue group: Pet Supermarket, at the corner of College Parkway and U.S. Hwy 41, Fort Myers, is building a new place, and asked our organization to bring furry little ones there permanently. So, now you have the chance to adopt a homeless pet from Find a Home, Give a Home on Fort Myers Beach and Fort Myers!
Take action, save a life!
This is kittens time, and it is very important to control the overpopulation on and off the island, so we thought you may want to know about a great program from Animal services called TNR (Trap, Neuter and Release). There is no cost and the only thing you have to do is to make an appointment by calling 533-7387, ext. 2, or email email@example.com. If you would like to know more about it, please visit LeeLostPets.com
Find a Home, Give a Home works entirely on donations, either monetary, or in the form of cat litter and supplies, and your support is greatly appreciated. Please be sure to visit FindAHomeGiveAHome.com
