To the editor:
On Sept. 9, 2012, I was leaving the area of Publix Supermarket on the corner of Summerlin Road and San Carlos Boulevard and returning to Fort Myers Beach. When I reached my destination, I realized that I had left my purse on the hood.
GONE. I was immediately panic stricken. My whole life was in that little black clutch: drivers license, my Social Security Card, credit cards, cell phone, irreplaceable photos and, most painful of all, my fathers' 86-year old Scapular.
I retraced my trip with the help of a friend to no avail. When I got home my purse was there!!!! Holy Cow!! It made it home before me. Some amazing man in a Ford Explorer found it and took it to my neighbor. I know nothing about him but his kindness only that he had his son with him, which insures us another generation of Good Samaritans. Thank You,
