Kids can cook producer thanks community

January 23, 2013
Fort Myers Beach Bulletin, Fort Myers Beach Observer

To the editor:

I am writing to say a very special thank you to this great community that is known as Fort Myers Beach and how grateful I am for all their help and support.

The "Kids Can Cook" television show filmed a Memorial Day segment at Palm Terrace Resort last Thursday. Special thanks goes to Palm Terrace Resort, located at 3333 Estero Blvd. It is a quaint tropical Paradise centrally located at mid-island across from the Gulf with a beach access and its own heated pool and large tiki hut. It is a great comfortable setting, all in a private, quiet environment. Thanks also goes to Select Transportation & Tour, Edward Jones, Truly Scrumptious, Annette's Book Nook, Skipper's Liquors, Hampton Inn & Suites, The Island Jewel, Surf Club and the Big "M" at Mote Marina.

The "Kids Can Cook" television show presents "Seeing The Light," a documentary that is working to highlight vision loss in children and how we can all help. The "Kids Can Cook" TV show is a vehicle to teach proper nutrition, build a social exchange and create a learning experience in an entertaining format as well as public service announcements for safety on the water.
