Film producer seeks Beach stay

April 24, 2013
Fort Myers Beach Bulletin, Fort Myers Beach Observer

To the editor:

The Kids Can Cook TV show that recently had a segment filmed on Fort Myers Beach with a continuation of our Memorial Day Show taped in New York City. Whenever I arrive in Florida I am always happy to be in a place that feels more and more like home.

It was the perfect setting for the ending of our Memorial Day Show.

I am also writing to say a very special thank you to this great community that is known as

Fort Myer Beach and how grateful I am for all the help and support. Special thanks to the following: VFW of Fort Myers Beach; Palm Terrace Resort; Select Transportation & Tours; Edward Jones and Annette's Book Nook.

The Kids Can Cook TV Show began in New York City working with a representative who also participates in helping with the Veterans Day Parade. At the location for our NYC show, the children prepared their own pizza and created a Flag representative of a number of different countries and did this by decorating with fresh vegetables.

We also had all-natural soda with no sugar, made with fresh mint seltzer and fresh lemon.

We did invite New York City Mayor Bloomberg, I am happy to report that, although he could not attend, his office did call back.

This summer I will continue to work on my documentary, which is also dedicated to highlighting the very important issue of vision loss. I am asking for your help to find a private space to stay and also do my work. I would also be willing to exchange some service, such as house-sitting, care-taking, or photography for the right situation. Please leave a voice mail at 239-810-3256 with your name and number so I may call back, my cell only takes messages.
