Terence Beighton Dykstra, 56, of Fort Myers Beach, passed away March 14. He was born on June 13, 1956, in Waltham, Mass., a child of George and Doris (Beighton) Dykstra.

A resident of Fort Myers Beach for the past 15 years, he previously lived in Fort Myers since 1979. He was employed by the U.S. Postal Service as a mail carrier at various locations in the area, his last being at the station on Six Mile Cypress in South Fort Myers.

He enjoyed fishing and bowling and was a member of a team that bowled at Gator Lanes in Fort Myers.

He is survived by his daughter, Jessica Dykstra of Fort Myers Beach.
