UPDATE1: Two dead, one injured in reported shooting at Salty Sam's Marina

The suspect and victims names involved in the disturbance at Salty Sam's Marina have been provided.

Marilyn Spiegel, age 70, and Harry Carlip, age 71, were reported to be married in Fort Myers on May 18. They were aboard a boat docked at the San Carlos Island marina when Michael Stephen Spiegel, age 71, approached them and reportedly shot both of them dead. Reports say Marilyn's sister was injured in the incident and transported to a local hospital.

Two people are dead and one other has been transported to a local hospital after a disturbance occurred at Salty Sam's Marina Thursday morning. Shots were reported to be fired.

Lee County Sheriff's Office deputies, detectives from the department's major crimes unit, fire officials and coast guard personnel were on the scene. Witnesses are being questioned.

According to a police spokeswoman, the community is safe and officers are not looking for anyone directly involved in the incident at this time.

The investigation is ongoing, and no other information is available at this time.
